Welcome to our forum. Why do you think your answer is correct? Have you ever read such a sentence? The correct answer is b but much more important than the answer itself is the question how you can learn to find the correct answer yourself. What's the point of throwing multiple choice questions at us? There are thousands of interactive English grammar exercises on our site -- the forum is the place to exchange experiences and ask questions that you might not find the answer to in any of your books.
By the way, do you know how to use Google?
