infinitive vs. finite verb vs. non-finite verb #1 (permalink) Tue Mar 13, 2007 18:22 pm   infinitive vs. finite verb vs. non-finite verb

I am very much confused with (infinitive, finite verb, non-finite verb)

Could you give me some links or sites dealing with the same?

infinitive vs. finite verb vs. non-finite verb #2 (permalink) Wed Mar 14, 2007 6:32 am   infinitive vs. finite verb vs. non-finite verb

.
HERE'S a nice one-page summary of finite vs non-finite verbs. Infinitives are just one form of non-finite verb: the base form with to (to go, to come) or without it (go, come). The latter is called the bare infinitive.

Finte vs infinite #3 (permalink) Sat Sep 04, 2010 21:12 pm   Finte vs infinite

Finite verbs have a subject and it shows the tense or number(singular/plural)
eg.
I play soccer.

Infinite verbs are not attached to a subject/object and they do not represent any tense or number. They also form infinitives.
eg.
I studied vocab to increase my gmat score
