In general people are living longer now. Discuss the causes of this phenomenon. Use specific reasons and details to develop your essay.

Before my statement I want to make one notice. It’s not true that people now are living longer because people in many developing countries are living shorter. For instance average life duration in Africa is around 35 years. Nevertheless, It’s true that people in developed countries are living longer than a century ago. I think that it’s good for the mankind. This is a result of increased life standard which include, effective medicine, food which is better than before, law restrictions against war and so on. However there is some problems which are related to this phenomenon. For instance, growing mankind require more food. In the paragraph below I’ll illustrate my statement with reasons and examples.

Firstly, in the era of democracy and humanism, main goal of mankind is to improve standard of life.
As a result of this death rates are decreased which must be admired. However, in the beginning of my essay I mentioned that we must restrict our view on problems in developing countries. That’s why our planet is like a big city. At the moment we are living in skyscrapers, but our neighbors are living in hovels. In other words I think that we the people of developed countries must help our neighbors, which are living in poverty.

At the other hand, decreased birth rate result one big problem. The mankind must provide more food, energy and other supplies to people. Hunger is problem number one in many countries, especially in Africa and Asia. They are two possible responses to this problem. First, birth rate must be decreased in these countries; second economic resources in these countries must be improved. In fact, High birth rate is problem only in the developing countries. India, for instance, increases its population with millions every year. According to the BBC in the capital New Delhi many people are living in poverty. They haven’t house, work, and even clothes. However, this problem is very difficult to be solved due to many reasons. The most important obstacle is that people which are living in poverty creates offspring which inherit their social status. It’s happened because people in these countries haven’t sufficient money for medicaments, which restrain birth rate.

In conclusion I think that today people are living longer. It should be admired. It’s success, which is a result of civilization progress. However, they are some problems, which are related to this phenomenon. In the future, one of the most important tasks of the human race is to solve these problems.

As the inevitable consequence of the dramatically development of the technology, there has been a sustainable in the length of human life in the world, particularly in advanced countries. Old people are living longer and staying healthier than ever before. In my opinion, the reasons for increasing in average longevity are the improvement of medicine, the quality of food and the social activities.

When a new era, the technology era, was inaugurated, the medical discoveries or inventions help find many methods and remedies to cure terrible diseases or infections. Moreover, governments put more and more funds for health expenditures and training the doctors and nurses. As a result, people will find easy to access medical services or take the regular physical examination.

Secondly, due to the growth of economy, it is obviously that the standard of living is enhanced a lot. At what time people have higher income, they also concern more about their diet everyday. Having healthy food including fruit, vegetables and whole grains, is very important in order to get better nutrition and prevent from the risk of cancers, heart diseases.

In addition, taking social activities plays a very critical role when people get older. Parallel with the development of societies, the acknowledgement of the magnitude of increasing in average longevity is also enhanced. People especially the older, often take exercises every morning or play sports outside such as jogging, swimming or hiking. This will build up a strong body and help people be less prone to depression or ailments. Furthermore, it will make people feel easier in social and communicative activities.

To sum up, the progress of the societies and technology are the main reason for the recent increases in longevity. Along with the higher living standard, people now spend more and more time on playing sports and having a good diet to make stronger bodies and avoid many terrible diseases.
