Question: How to post an answer for questions on a Newsletter? #1 (permalink) Tue Mar 20, 2007 17:56 pm   Question: How to post an answer for questions on a Newsletter?

Dear Torsten,

I've read a Newsletter from you with the following content:
---------------
What is intelligence?

Dear Friend,

What is your definition of intelligence? Do you think that intelligence is the determining factor for a person's success? Is a person with an IQ of 100 more successful than a person with an IQ of 120? Have you ever thought about such questions? If so what conclusions have you come to?

I'm looking forward to reading your answers.

Regards
Torsten Daerr
-------

So, my question is how can I answer such kind of question?

I really want to share my point of view and also want you, experts in English language, to correct my using of English and give advise for me.

Thank you in advanced.

Best regards,

Leuleu (Hieu from Vietnam)

Dear Leuleu,

You can answer this question simply by posting your thoughts here on the forum. How important do you think is a person's IQ? Do you think your IQ determines how successful you will in life?
As for your English, I must say it's already pretty good -- just make sure you are aware of the difference between "advise" (verb) and "advice" (noun). The phrase at the end of a message is Thank in advance.

Let me know what you think of the IQ question.
Regards,
Torsten

Hi Torsten,

Thank you for your answer.

However, there's a small thing unclear for me. You said that "here on the forum", so which forum is the most suitable for my post to the topic? This forum (feedback and comment), right? Or another one?

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Leuleu,

You can post your thoughts here in this sub-forum and if the thread develops into an interesting discussion we might move it up to a more popular section. At any rate, your message will be read by a lot of people and that's what counts, isn't it?

Torsten
