Hi,

I understand that "24x7x365 Fanatical Support" means that as a customer you get any of your technical questions answered by a specialist any time immediately. My question is, have you ever that term (24x7x365 Fanatical Support)?

Just wondering if what we are offering here on the forum can be called "24x7x365 Fanatical Support" too....

Thanks
Torsten

I haven't heard that specifically, but the idea has lent itself to considerably wordplay, and I've seen a number of variations on the theme. This particular one is certainly understandable, though it seems a little wordy-- but then so are we here.

The word that bothers me is 'fanatical'. Is the 'support' provided too enthusiastic, too eager? Perhaps the word has a new positive connotation I fail to see?

Hi Conchita,

That's exactly what struck me as odd too...

It's OK-- the source is just very enthusiastic. 'Fanatics' are OK these days.

(PS: Please tell Slava I haven't been getting notice of replies again, e.g. this thread.)
