Dear gre_rookie,
Many thanks for joining our forum. It's probably best if you learn new vocabulary words in context rather than trying to cram them into your head separately. Make sure you have a clear understanding of the reasons as to why you are preparing for the GRE. Are you doing it for the score or because you want to study at university? If you want to study at university, what topics are you interested in? Regards, Torsten PS: The word "vocabs" does not exist. You probably mean "vocabulary words" as "vocabulary" is uncountable so you can't learn "vocabs" but words. Hope this makes sense....

| I don't think another 1000 words will make a huge difference on your score. How have your verbal practice scores improved since you started prepping? I think a focus on verbal overall, vs. another 1000 words, would have a higher impact on your score. |

1000 words is not a good a good vocabulary .you atleast need 2500+ or2000+. Here is a site which can give how to improve your vocabulary very fast. improvingvocabulary.org follow the methods given and see the difference |

| Refering to the site mentioned above by CodeTrendz.....improvingvocabulary.org,I find some real good suggestions to make learning of the words and memorizing them for a longer time. |
