Hi,

I have come across a sentence as follows:

Quote:
If this deal is as good as it sounds, I want in.

Does 'want in' mean 'like to accept' or 'like to participate'? Which is correct?

Many thnaks in advance.

Hi Haihao,

'I want in' means I want to be part of what you are talking about/your organisation/I want to join. Likewise 'I want out' indicates you want to leave/no longer be part of.

Hi Alan,

Thank you so very much again for your explanation, which cleared up every doubt I had held about the expression.
