Hi Teachers,

Tonight I won't sleep well if I don't know the subtle difference between the word "study and learn" and "student and learner".

Please help me with this

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I would suggest that learn is simply acquiring knowledge about something as in- learn Chinese often learn how to as in learn how to drive a car. Study is really the same process but going into greater depth and in an academic context. The two nouns student and learner reflect the same idea.
