Sorry for my late "hello world"... Mon Apr 16, 2007 9:47 am  Sorry for my late "hello world"...

"Cha`o ba` con" (very friendly Vietnamese words for "hello everybody"),

This is the late "hello world" however i have already had some comments in the site.
My name is Hieu, a Software Engineer as well as a Vietnamese. As you know, the "hello world" is the first program for everyone if he/she wants to study any software programming language but i didn't follow this rule! Wink.
Anyway, i think it is not too late... Plz help me to improve everything about my English (from speaking, listening, reading...). Of course, if i have any question, i will contact to you guys via posting some articles...
Plz don't hesitate to correct me if there is any mistake or something else...
Oh, my poor English! Sad.

Cheers, Hieu Phan.

P/s: plz call me as "sunflower.babe" - take a look at my avatar for viewing a very lovely kid! Wink).

Hi sunflower.babe (Hieu Very Happy )

Welcome to English-test.net.

How long have you been learning English?
Can you tell use a little more about what a software engineer does?
And how did you decide on your nick? Did you find the avatar first or did you invent the name first?

Hi Jankee et all,
Nice to exchange information with you! Smile
I will try to answer your questions one-by-one... Smile.
I'm not sure how long i have been working with English.... Long time ago, I've known a girl called "English language" when i was 12 years old!:p. But that time, i just falled in love with Math, chemistry... I did not pay much attention in English... so... hic hic... i'm a poor English guy! Sad.
Right now, i'm trying to refresh and improve everything about my English skill! Sad. I think it's not too late to learn any thing! Smile.

Regarding to Software Engineer occupation, how can i say? Smile. We are developing some kinds of software applications, such as the web application like our current forum, or software to control the automation factory (Semiconductor manufacturing...)... to help end-user easy to manage/add/update information...
And I have been working in the factory automation (FA) department of a Vietnamese company. It's very hard to let you understand what i am doing... hic hic... poor English!Sad.

The historical of my nickname is very romantic... I used the avatar like current when trying to make friend with my dreaming girl! Smile. We worked in the same company and... I have tried to chat with her via Yahoo Messenger... hehe... and now we are a lovely couple of the company however she changed to another company for months Smile. She saw my funny avatar and named me as sunflower.babe for contacting via this way... I think that everything you can know about my nickname! Wink.

Maybe i need more self-confidence about my English skill and improve time-by-time! Thanks for your understanding!
