Hi Allen, just wondering why you use "the store" instead of "screen" for tv?

Hi,

You appear to be missing the point. in store is a fixed expression and means "forthcoming, about to happen".
Who knows what's in store for us (who knows what will happen to us in the future)
So, it has absolutely nothing to do with the TV screen Laughing

Good, I have the same doubt and I canīt see any information or explanation about that yet... I didnīt understand why to use "store" in the sentence...

Hi Cida,

As Alex explained, 'what's in store' is a fixed expression -- an idiom. Do you know what the word 'idiom' means?
Thanks,
Torsten
