Hi All,

Someone has asked me the below question(I think it is not exactly the question but he asked me this to know if he has helped me or not)

Hopefully Sam has sorted your internet access.

What would be the best way to answer it, "Yes, he did" or "Yes, he has".

Thanks,
A Learner.

PS: Please correct the mistakes, if any.

Why not "Yes, he did"? Is this completely wrong or can we use it in someother context?

If you use it then I bet you will be understood but it will be not grammatical.

If smbd. asks you "you sorted it, didnt you?" you can answer "yes, I did"
