EU i agree with you.
Furthermore, he was so old when he was executed cruelly. People should respect life especially those seniors.
He killed many people but he did it just out of political purpose. Here i don't want to support him. I just mean if his opponent had stepped on the political stage at that time instead of him, it might be he and his followers who had been killed.
The most serious mistake Sadam made was he refused to cooperate with the United States.
Might makes right and losers are always in the wrong.

Yes, but you've made it clear before that you've got a pathological fetish for heads of state. Now we see that it's not just for respectable people like Queen Elizabeth, but that it extends all the way to people who have gassed a million and a half people.
Do you think the Allies should have pursued Adolph Hitler? He was also a head of state. |

yes, and Saddam was found living like a rat.
He didn't have the balls of Hitler though.
It takes a pair to be able to off oneself, imo.
In some respects, it is an act of cowardice. On the other hand, given the unknown aspects of the grave, it takes courage to do it.
(keeping in mind that Hitler was an awful person... I don't throw compliments his way lightly, given the warranted bias against him.)

We haven't yet found WMD in Iraq... doesn't mean he didn't have them. He probably offloaded them to Syria or another neighboring state, or hid them very well in Iraq.
We must have some pretty freakin' awesome search capabilities to be able to conclude that there are no WMD in a country the size of California -- that we've literally searched the entire country.
Whatever the argument for or against the war, good can come of this... if the damn insurgents would stop trying to gum up the wheels of democracy. hehe

I think every citizen must respect the president of he's Country...
There are many reasons why I don't like him
