Just a brief word...I like the word "free". Laughing

Rosalisa, "free" means there is a free room, that is unfurnished with lots of free space. You have to pay the monthly rent of $2000 + utility bills though Very Happy

Hi NS & Areal,

I'm surprised to hear that "for free" can mean I might pay so much too. Laughing Gee!

That's right -- there is no fee for staying, UNLESS the electric, cable or phone bill arrives while you are there. If such happens, you are responsible for paying that bill. If two or more of them arrive while you are there, you must pay the larger (or -est) of the bills (by monetary amount on the bill).

--

In this case:
free = free of charge

Not "independent"... you are not free to do as you please in my apartment. Puke goes in the toilet, for instance, and you must allow me to beat you at (competitive) video games.

hehe

Do we have a right, at least with a written permission from our international adviser, to beat you in the same game at least once per month?

I heard Bush say this on the air:

George W. Bush wrote:
Our enemies are innovative and resourseful, and so are we
They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we

After that statement I doubt that it is safe to travel to the USA Smile

Okay, folks:

Rosalisa
Of course it isn't scary to stay at my apartment... as long as you don't mind rodents, roaches, dust, etc.

NS
You haven't seen me with my foot-long beard and afro.

Aereal
Oh, democracy is alive and well in the US. My apartment is not, however, under the jurisdiction of the United States. It is part of the Holy Totalitarian Dictatorship of Tom the Terrible.

lost_soul
Once you get into the US, you'll be fine. The bar scene can be especially fun.

Che
Yeah, I know. I suppose I could clean my apartment, but then I'd have to make it $5 per night.

hehehehehe

NS:
It is not Nonsense!!!! You are rude.

If you are not a chinese you won't know the fact. The fact is it is comparatively difficult for a chinese to get a visa to the united States.Rate of pass for study abroad is up to 80% in 2006, but before it the rate of pass is 70% more or less. Do you think it is high?
One of my colleague who is 58 years old lady and hopes to visit her daughter in the United States has been refused by the Visa Bureau several times. I don't nknow the specific reason but it is true.

But i also admit the situation is improving. The rate of pass is higher and higher.

Almost all Chinese Citizens could ask for the right to stay in USA, when they are in already.USA has a lot of illegal emigrants,God knows why but in this terrible country of President Bush millions of people from entire world are looking for their place some have found already.
As far as I know in China is more people eager to run away than get in ??
Why ??

No I'm not, damnit. You're wrong!

hehe

If you're serious, you may have misread one of my posts. Probably two-thirds of what I post in here is at least partially tongue-in-cheek.
