Hi teachers,

Some books use the word "unit" like unit 1, unit 10, etc while other use "module" like module 1, module 5, etc.

Is there any preference to use each word?

Thanks in advance

.
I think that 'module' tends to be the term of choice for highly structured programs, Jupiter; the idea is that a module is an intricately related part of a complex whole. Most texts are satisfied with the term 'unit' to indicate a section with a common topic, theme or goal.
