Hi Heidi,

In addition to the link Charles has posted you might want to read Gerund or infinitive? which is a beautifully written piece by Alan Townend.

Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Torsten

Hello, :-)

"To spare no expense" Does it mean that they decided not to economize?

Best regards,
Dina

Hi Dina,

Yes, your stories and idioms it`s something unique and original :-) :-) I`m in the garden now and the idiom that grass is greener at the neigbours is turning in my mind if I can say so:-) But it seems to me that the greenest grass is in your garden ;-) I`ve read in the Net and looked pictures of English gardens and I`m still impressed and amaze:-) :-) :-)
