Hi!
please correct my mistakes.
Thanx Khusi.

I was born on 30th March.

I 'm going to bed at 10:30 P.m
I'm going to bed at 10:30 p.m.

I'm planning to out on friday.
I'm planning to go out on Friday.

My niece was born in Jan.
We would usually write the month out in full in sentences like this:
My niece was born in January.

I'm having off on sun.
I'm having (or taking) Sunday off.

Days of the week always begin with a capital letter.

Both are.
'In' would tend to mean she is inside the house, whilst 'at' means she is in the grounds of her home somewhere - it may be the house/yard/garden.

Hi Yankee,
here sethu i have small doubt
Renny has written
"On February 22th 2008 my friends have sent me a special packet "

but you commented
"On February 22nd, 2008 my friends sent me a special packet."

here my doubt is why can't we use "had" (its on 2008)
"On February 22nd, 2008 my friends had sent me a special packet."

Because 'had sent' expects something more in contrary to the first statement.

"They had sent me a packet but it got lost,"
"He had sent me some money but I didn't need it."
"You had (already) sent me a card then you sent me a letter."

Your question is too general for a definitive answer, Aani.
I suspect the best we could do would be to answer specific questions as they occur.

You mean 'definite' and 'indefinite'.

If you are talking about the articles in grammar, then the indefinite article is 'a' and the definite article is 'the'.
http://www.english-test.net/lessons/16/index.html

In more general terms, they are antonyms (opposites).
definite = clear , certain, precise.
indefinite = unclear, uncertain, vague.
