Neither are idioms; 'cocktails in Appalachia' was coined for the Friends show, I think. 'To belch the alphabet' is to say each and all of the letters of the Roman alphabet in order while simultaneously belching. 'Cocktails in Appalachia' is used to describe an unpleasant public display of affection.

What do you mean, 'etymology' here? The individual words can be found, with their etymologies, in a dictionary. 'Schwang' sounds onomatopoetic, and could mean anything-- even an exclamation-- out of context.
