Hi !

Spare me the details (of some event) if you dont mind

Could you rehash this phrase for me, please (more precisely, only the part in italic)

Thank you in advance Smile

In this case, "spare me" means "don't tell me" or "don't bother me with".

So the person is saying "Don't bother me with the details..." or "Don't tell me the details..." or "Omit the details...", etc.

Could you (or anyone else) answer these 2 questions:

1.Does save me the details if you dont mind mean the same as spare me the details if you dont mind?
2.Does could you spare me $100 means the same as could you give me $100 if you have it

Thank you in advance
