bibliography vs reference Thu May 03, 2007 10:50 am  bibliography vs reference

Both terms are related in the sense that a reference is a direction for further information and this reference can be a bibliography, that is, a list of books (or articles) referring to a special subject. These books, where you can look up information, are reference books.
