Question:
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

The nation-state is an outmoded institution and should be replaced with a world government.

Use reasons and specific examples to support your opinion.

Your Answer:
Before giving my opinion about this sentence i would like to interpret two phrases "nation-state" and "world government". As I know nation-state is institution of USA. The USA consist of states, every state has own legal code, territory etc. World government is an institution wich interpret and enforce international law. World government administrating above existing national governments and provides coordination over areas national government. I think every nation should have its own government.

The government should defend its people, culture and territory. But some times the defending of people, culture and territory can be turn into war.

First of all the institution like UN was established to prevent war between nations. But it can not govern country. For my opinion the nation-state and world government should exist same time, I mean they should to cooperate with each other.

It is more important what kind of people govern country. History show us that prosperity of the country depend on ruler. Every nation has its own culture and tradition, therefore the nation should be ruled by the man from this nation, who know the people which he rules.
