Expression: Well paid! From 16 Euros per hour?

Hi!

Can anybody help me out with an explanation? I recently received a job offer from abroad. In the text I found the above mentioned expression:

Well paid. From 16 Euros per hour.

Now I wonder what "from 16 Euros......." mean!

Does it mean "16 Euros and more" or does it mean "exactly 16 Euros" or is it simply wrong expressed?

16 Euros or more. It is a common expression. The idea is that 16 Euros is the basic entrance salary, but if the applicant has good credentials, s/he may be offered-- or demand-- more.
