Good afternoon,

First of all, let me say that the forums at english-test.net are an incredible resource, I think it's great!

One thing I haven't been able to find is much information on using ESL in the classroom. I have recently started a website called www.eslsongsource.com The intention of this site is to create a large, categorized database of songs for use in classrooms.

I was wondering if you would be interested in exchanging links between our websites? At the moment I have some google ads, but I honestly don't like them and would rather have some useful links for our visitors to take them to pages like english-test.net.

Please let me know if you are interested,

Craig Peterson

Dear Graig,

Many thanks for joining our community. You are right, it would be great to exchange information and ideas on how to use songs in the ESL classroom. What do you think of creating an interview which could have the same structure like our Interview with Flocabulary. An interview might be more useful than just swapping links.
Please let me know your thoughts on this.
Talk to you soon,
Torsten

Torsten,

I think that's a wonderful idea! I am usually free between 3pm and 5pm CST, and after 7pm CST. Will you send me an email and let me know if any of those times work for you? Talk to you soon,

Craig

Yes Greg, I registered on your website yesterday and I think it's a fantastic concept. I'll explore your site a little more and send you my first interview question(s) via email so we'll get the ball rolling... It probably would also be good to hold and publish an audio interview which we can do via Skype. By the way, what do you do when you are not working on ESLSongSource?

Hey, sorry for the delay, I've been a bit busy. Sure, an email and / or Skype interview sounds great. I'd love to do it. To answer your question, when I'm not trying working on the website I teach business English at the Volkswagen plant in Puebla, Mexico. Fortunately, we have today (Thursday) and Friday off as well as the weekend, so I'm going to take advantage and go camping in northern Puebla. I'll be back Sunday afternoon, and then I don't have a vacation for a long time so we can do the interviews for sure. Okay, well, enjoy your day, I'll talk to you soon,

Craig

Hi Craig,

It's great to have you back online. Yes, you'll receive my first batch of questions by the end of this week. Meanwhile, I'll again browse your amazing collection of ESL songs...

Cheers,
Torsten
