TOEFL® essay sample: Some people wish to ban smoking in public places

I think that smoking is a bad habit. I have practice of smoking. I do not smoke at present moment but sometimes I smoke cigarette when I am very angry or disappointed. However I think that the smoking in public places must be baned.

Smoking is harmful to health. As I have heard once, the smoke of cigarettes harms more the health of man who do not smoke than the man who smokes, I mean if you are in car or in someone place sitting near the man who are smoking sigaret, your health harming more than who smokes. In public place you can be with your kids, for kids the smoke of cigarette more harmfull than for adults. Also in public place can be weak people, pregnant women for whom smoke of cigarettes is danger.

The second reason why smokig in public place must be baned is smell of smoke. Some people hate the smell of cigarettes. After parties my clothes smell like cigarettes. I hate when it happens, I can't dress those clothes while I will not wash them.

The third reason why smoking in public place must be banned is cigarette end. It is pleasure to spend free time in clean place, but some time in public place we could see cigarette ends. Not everyone have good breeding, I mean some peoples do not use refuse bin.

As I said above I wish to ban smoking in piblic places. I think the smoking is a bad habit. As little the people smoking as good for them. If you think that the banning of smoking is hurtign smoker's right I assure you that it is not. Because when smoker is smoking cigarette he creates for nonsmoker or nonsmokers inconfinience, like smoke of cigarette, smell of cigarette's smoke.
