. And it is 'unto' if anything, not 'onto'. Actually, your whole quote is a little odd, LostSoul-- and even the 'unto' version may be apocryphal.
One Bible's version:
"Do unto others as you would have them do to you". Luke 6:31
Some others:
And as you would that men should do to you, do you also to them in like manner. Et prout vultis ut faciant vobis homines et vos facite illis similiter
And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. (King James version)
Do to others as you would have them do to you. (New International version)
