Program like WORD that can check correctness of spelling #1 (permalink) Fri Dec 24, 2004 14:48 pm   Program like WORD that can check correctness of spelling

I am looking for program like WORD that can check the correctness of my spelling and grammar when I write a composition.Especially whole sentences. I am using WORD but it is not precise enough, I mean it misses a lot of mistakes - grammar mistakes, that are very common by me. {is it correct to say here by me???? lol}
If someone has any information that may be useful I will be glad to see it. Thank you in advance.

Hi May,

You may want to google the term 'whitesmoke' - it's a program that claims to recognize and amend grammar as well as spelling mistakes.
However, the best method to learn how to write an essay is reading a lot of articles, papers and other documents in English.

What about I often make grammar mistakes or grammar mistakes I often make?
