Hi

I've seen many times lines like this:
Quote:
I done heard of it
I done seen it

I can surmise that here we have the change "have" -> "done" made.
Have you encountered something like this? Does it sound natural?

Hi LS

The use of 'done' instead of 'have/has' in the present perfect is a feature of Southern US English. You can read a little bit about it here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_American_English
(Scroll down to "Shared Features" in the Grammar section)

It only sounds "natural" when used in combination with all the rest of the Southern US English details -- including perfect "Southern Drawl" pronunciation.
