Hi
Do professional certifications help? I have come through this site:

http://professional-certifications.blogspot.com/

that gives elaborate details about professional certifications and claims that people even without formal education can get jobs with professional certifications
is it true?

Professional certifications from recognized institutions (and your link includes Certified Internal Auditor certification, and diploma programs from several universities) are accepted by many employers. Whether a university degree is required in addition, is dependent on the individual employer and the qualifications for the position to be filled.
