I am looking to say in a short, two words only, phrase:
The abbreviations used in this dictionary. Can I say "used abbreviations"?

If not can you suggest a word for "used". Thank you much

You would have to turn it around and say, "abbreviations used".

"Used abbreviations" sounds like someone has some old abbreviations that he is finished with and now wants to sell. Similar to a used car.
