Hi! everyone!

I am curious about it.
when I hear a sort of song related Chiristian songs.
I've heard that one. But I don't know what that means.
Could you let me know what that is??

Thanks

what does "love's sake" mean? #2 (permalink) Sat Jun 09, 2007 12:20 pm   what does "love's sake" mean?

The expression is for the sake of; for someone's/something's sake, which means 'out of consideration for/in the interest of/because of'.

For example, we can help or forgive others for the sake of love (or for love's sake). Also, for the sake of peace and quiet we can allow our children to do something (like switching on the television).
