Hi! My sister and I are translating a book on dieting from English to Persian. There is a part where the writers are explaining the role of CART in curbing the appetite and they point out what CART stands for. Here is the sentence: "CART (cocaine-amphetamine-regulatory transcript, for those scoring at home) is the reason why cocaine addicts don't gain weight." Now, my problem is for those scoring at home. What does scoring at home mean here? Thank you in advance for your help.

'For those getting illegal drugs at home', I think-- it appears to me to be a small joke.

Thank you very much. It could well be a joke, for the book is written with a beautiful sense of humor.
