Hi All,

I want to emphasize that somebody checks the mailbox every day every hour. (I mean permanently)
Can I use is being checked instead of is checked in the below sentence?

This mailbox is in use and is being checked by the Quality team every day.

Hi,

I would prefer in this context 'is checked' to indicate that this is a regular and daily practice. To use 'is being checked' changes the meaning because this would mean 'is being checked' at this moment/now and that would then clash with the idea of the checking taking place on a regular basis.
