Hi, I took the test on May.18th, and it turned out OK. I don't think you need to look specially for topics that have been used lately, since there's little chance they will appear again. Actually the ones on the Official Guide or other kind of sources are enough for your preparation.
Let me know if you need any more specific help. |

Dashing23, I think you wanted to ask if someone has taken the TOEFL recently, not "newly".
Hemaxijv, if you wrote on your TOEFL the same way you wrote in your post on this message board, don't be surprised if you fail it. You will not pass the writing section if you can't use capital letters properly, if you can't spell simple words like "haven't", "writing", "are", "you" and "at least", or if you can't use periods at the end of sentences. And those weren't your only problems!
I'm amazed at the number of posts recently by people who are very worried about passing their TOEFL but who write in terrible, very sloppy English. |

| If you want to know the topics frequently asked, I think you should use the TOEFL ibt Official Guide. This book lists out common questions on particular section. |

One of your problems is that you don't put any spaces between your sentences. Another is that you're not careful about capitalization, so you seem to write the pronoun "I" with a small letter, instead of a capital letter.
Based on the mistakes you have made in that short post, it appears you need to practice the use of gerunds. (You have used a base form after a preposition instead of a gerund.) You need to learn to use the indefinite article (a, an), because you left it out in one place where it is necessary. You also need to learn to use idioms and collocations correctly, because you had two expressions that were quite wrong. One was "mother language", which is wrong, and another wrong expression was, "I have to take 100".
Translating from your native language into English can be helpful as long as you know how to translate expressions correctly and are not just translating word-for-word from your mother tongue into wrong English. I think this kind of task requires some guidance, because even very advanced native speakers find it very difficult. |
