I was very happy to see the Memberlist feature as I thought that I finally could find which member I am on this web site. The problem is that when I registered I was some 2400th member, but I was very disappointed to find the Member list showing me to be the 1213th person registered. It seems that some registered people were later removed or something similar happened to them, otherwise I am sure that I am some 2400th member. This might look strange but I really want to know which member I am... It is my old wish to find this... Unfortunately, the Memberlist feature could not help me...Can anyone do?

Hello Zahir,

Many thanks for your question. Yes, sometimes software bots register as a forum members on our forum to post pornographic spam messages which we of course remove. I think in addition to the number you get assigned to your username the profile of a forum member is largely determined by the way they contribute to the community.

Hello Torsten,

It is really my pleasure to be here after a long period and I am going to spend more time with your web site in the future. I have loved this web site since the time I joined it.
So, you mean that in reality I am the 1213th member? Do you also mean that contributing is more important than being registered under certain number by the computer? Is it the conclusion I can make from your post?

By the way, sorry for my mistake in the subject line. Of course, it should read: "Which member am I?"

Yes Zahir, that was exactly was I trying so say -- your forum member number might change while all your contributions are being archived and can be read by countless other forum members any time.
As for your member number, it depends on how you search the member list. (by join date, by member name, by post count, etc.)
