What is the meaning of the word "sloopy" ? Here is the sentence where it is used : "He wishes for perfection and in that sense he would like to destroy us, for we are, variously, too fat, too jocular, too sloopy, too affectonate, too grotesque and heedless in our ways."

Hi hallucination,

Many thanks for your question. "Sloopy" is probably a typo -- the word should read "sloppy". Where did you come across the sentence you've quoted?

Regards,
Torsten

Thanks, Torsten :) I also thought that it might be a typo since i couldn't find anything about the word on the internet, but I wanted to make sure about it. The sentence is an extract from a text which I'm supposed to translate into Bulgarian and apparently this misprint has occurred. Thanks again.
