Hello, everybody,

There is a controversy going on between us as to whether to come up with some new words or just to manipulate existing ones while translating the poem "Jabberwocky" by Lewis Carroll. At that point, I thought it would be much better to pick your brains. Do you, as native speakers of English, can easily figure out what the poem is about? Another thing I want to know is that what would a child possibly think when he/she reads it?
