Hi,

Since when can OK be used a verb? I mean I sometimes hear phrase like "decided to OK the deal" on CNN so obviously OK or okay is a verb now too. How often do you use it?

Thanks,
Torsten

Hi, Torsten

I just checked all my dictionaries and all of them showed "OK" as a verb too. For example:

Quote:
He okayed/ OK'd my idea. (Advanced Learner's Dictionary)

And here:

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/okayed
