Hi All,

What does drag out mean in the below sentence?

I know this has dragged out, but I am stuck at this point and will have to wait for a response.

Here "this has dragged out" means "this situation has prolonged itself too much". Something has continued longer than most people think it should, and the situation is starting to irritate people because they don't want to bother with it anymore.
