help with GRE combination score?

Hello,

Does anyone know how GRE score is combined? For example, the universities I want to go to have a 1000 combined score requirement.
I took it in March and got 500 Verbal and 490 quantitative
Then in June I got 480 Verbal and 510 quantitative.

Can i combine the 500 Verbal from test 1 with the 510 quantitative from test 2 for my "combined score"?

or must the 1000 be from the same date?

Hey there Flynn, I think you need to check with the school for the exact breakdown; but also bear in mind that if you took it twice, the school might average it out so definitely call them to see what the deal is. Good luck!
