Hello People of ESL,

I am a new member of this "Paradise Found"! As proud as a teacher of English, let me introduce myself :My name is Muin, 49, married +10 kids.( I can hear voices of big WOW!!) Well, actully I am a new grandfather!

Happliy, I came across your forum as if I fell from a plane into a sea of knowledge ,trying to swim -though I have never learned how- but I can manage as long as there is guidance and wisdom.

From the first look at the main-page pictures, I can see six candles whose smiles express their happiness. Look friends, I feel I know you !! Maybe because of our common interest of English, or simply because we are human beings, aren't we?

Friends and colleagues, if you want to know more about me I ivite you to visit my wepage at : www.geocities.com/muinabuamsha

Please ,accept my regards and best wishes from the "Holy Land"

Your sincerely,
Muin

Hi, Muin!
We are so alike. I am a teacher of English in Moscow, Russia. We are almost the same age and we both are grandfathers. I have my own methods of teaching. If you are interested we could discuss some aspects of teaching English together.
Best wishes

Hello Mr Smith,
hank you for your reply. I am really interested to talk to people with experience so we can discuss our methods and get benefits for the sake of our young students. Could you please explain your way of teaching ? Is it the traditional method as we call it here in the Arab world i.e. "grammer-translation method"? Do you teach communicatively? How successful ? Or Do you use a combination of methods and techniques altogether?
Is Harry Smith a nickname or is it a real one ? Because most names in Russia end in ......ov or ....isky!!(just to amuse you)
My best regards
Yours ,
Moeen

Yes, you are right. It's a combination of methods and techniques altogether.
