Can one say:
1-The point to do that is to help others.
instead of:
1a-The point in doing that is to help others.

Can one say:
2-What is the point to do that?
instead of:
2a-What is the point in doing that?

Thanks Mr. Micawber,
How could I not join when I knew that YOU were here?!
Apparently, I joined in April 2006 and this is my tenth post. So logically, we must have met here at least once or twice. In any case, you do have a point. For someone like me, 'ten' isn't really a lot. I'll have to come here more often.
