Dear Sir,
I would like to request a two-day leave of absence from work effective from <first leave date> to <second leave date>.
The reason I am making this request is that my mother has been taken into hospital. I need to be available to support her during her period of hospitalisation. I am sorry for the short notice given but I am sure you appreciate the reasons for that.
I hope that you will regard my request in a favourable light and grant me the leave as requested. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours sincerely, Raju. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |
