Why did we use to be blown up?
Because that is what bombs do to you when they explode .. they blow you up.!
They disintegrate your body. They reduce you to fragments. _________________ If you need me, I'm here. |

Why did we use "going to be"
He probably heard the bomb ticking, and though, Oh, Oh, I'm going to be............. _________________ If you need me, I'm here. |

Hi Sultan,
welcome to the site, I am sure you will learn a lot by this site.
Regular verbs= which are made by adding "ed" like (reach, reached, reached), (walk, walked, walked), (watch, watched, watched) etc
Irregular verbs= there is no specific rule for these verbs like (go, went, gone), (hit, hit, hit), (ring, rang, rung), (catch, caught, caught) etc
for further detail you can see the following links
http://www.englishclub.com/vocabulary/irregular-verbs.htm
http://www.chompchomp.com/handouts/irregularrules01.pdf
http://learnenglish.byexamples.com/main-verbs-regular-and-irregular-verbs/
I hope that these links will be helpful to understand the difference between regular and irregular verbs.
have a good day |
