TOEFL® essay: Only people who earn a lot of money are successful?

Do you think that only people who earn a lot of money are successful? I definitely disagreed. There are a lot of people who earn a lot of money but do not think that they succeed, but there some people not earn much money but always feel satisfied. And I think the importance is that you not only feel happy when you are rick.

Money is not what can make your life become perfect. Some people with a very high salary still not think they are successful. I knew a a man who was a manage of a big company, but he spent so much time on his work. He left home when his kids had not waked up and came home when they had gone to bed. He did not have time to take to them, take care of them. Then someday he surprisedly found out that his kid had become a heroin addict.

And money is not the only thing can make you feel happy. I know a driver, he earn only one hundred dollars a month. But his son now earn one thousand dollars a month and his daughter now is a student. He claim that he is the most successful man in the world. There is a couple live in a small house. Every day, they work in their farm then have dinner together. They say that they are very happy and they are successful.

You are successful when you feel happy and satisfied. And you are not only happy when you do something that earn a lot of money. When you do something to help the other, then see the smile in their face, you will naturally feel happy. When you teach your kids and watch them grow up, you will feel satisfied. When you give your wife a present then she kiss you, you will feel happy.

Certain people has their own definition of success and have their own way to looking for it. To me, success is not what you have only when you earn a lot of money. Being successful is when you have a happy family and do what make you feel satisfied.
