Would you like a cup of coffee?" has become a synonomous term with sex is on or I am goint to get lucky. This is one of the best ways to pick up someone that you might enjoy having sex with. This term precludes any misunderstanding because one might really mean "Would you like a cup of coffee?" It is much better than just asking, or begging, for sex bluntly

What country is that from? It certainly does not have that meaning in AmE. On the other hand, almost anything said with a leer in one's eye would make one's true agenda known.
