IF we make simple past tense then we use 2nd form of verb but in most cases we use i did got call . did and got is both past tense and 2nd form of verb. y is it so

[Mister Micawber]

'Did got' is wrong. 'Did get' is normally wrong unless it is a question. 'I got a call' is correct.
