Hiya,
Mr Dictionary says that both "varied" and "various" could be used as adjectives, and they do have similar meanings. But can we use them without any difference? xie xie!

Hi, FangFang
Why don't you write your own examples? We could discuss them together. Wink

Ok,
1) There are various cultures around the world.
2) People with varied culture backgrounds come here and study together.

Firstly,I wonder whether they sound "ok" . In fact, I think they have same meanings, I can't tell the differences, realy. Sad,by the way, can I say,"people with various cultures....."??? Smile
