Nice to meet you, princess, I'm sorry to remark that kind of political things which might cause you uncomfortable, I'm sorry for that. In your shoes, you might say the same to me, to Taiwan yet you didn't.
Thanks for your sharing, someday If someone is like you, it's me.

Nice to meet you too Ed.
You needn't feel guilty. I haven't attacked you because I know what's the equility is to respect other's belief, languages, principles like I respect mine. You have the rights to point out your opinion and I protect this kind of right for you. But it doesn't mean I am not love my country as deeply as you.
Even if I said the last passage, it seems a little cunning, I just accord to your words you posted before and I reasoned it as my conclusion. I still will protect your rights for your political belief in future.
Have a good day. And, your English is really great. It's pity that you didn't go aborad to act your dream.

Nice to hear so, buddy As a matter of fact what I REALLY want is the peace between the conditions of our two, looking at the smiles on family's faces, talking about the trips to each other's mainland with close friends that will be great, be paradise. After all the history is just the history in the PAST.
Well, I don't know whether I should laugh or not when hearing your appreciating my English degree, but actually I love math and history most. However none has ever said that my math or history is good. |

There are too many things which could not be changed by wishes. I just respect to see the truth of this problem. Because we all educated by the national history and they are both served to the wants of each of governments. However, let it go.
If you really want to learn more in academy, you should pay some efforts for it. Even if it seems naive. Things won't be such hard as you thought them. Firstly you need to try once at least. |

Language is a tool for communication. I am really hope to learn people from different cultures. People of different cultures will respond to the same event in differnt way. so what has caused them to behave so differently? What do they think about other countries and why? All in all i think people will learn more from each other through communication and English is the only language that works nowadys. _________________ Try to change youself before you try to change others. |

edison: Anyway, we're not like China.
But we regard Taiwan as a part of China, though we are really different. _________________ Try to change youself before you try to change others. |

Yes, China regard Taiwan as a part of itself, the USA dose it as well. Yet Taiwan regard itself independent. |

I don't think the US really regards Taiwan as part of China. In order to deal with China, our government had to sign some treaty that claims Taiwan is part of China, but at the same time the government deals with Taiwan as if it were independent, and most Americans think of Taiwan as independent. |
