Hi, dear members

Could you elucidate a few obscure things for me, please.
First, what does "case production" mean?
the basis consists of 12 practices, where pair programming and test case production before coding are 2 examples

Second, which one of the two do you consider more natural:
1. I wrote a song about a guy I used to know
2. I wrote a song about the guy I used to know

Thank you for your time Smile

I think you must be misparsing the sentence. They are talking about [test case] [production], not [test] [case production]. In other words, they're producing test cases. Does that make it clear?

If you have known more than one guy, and the song is about just one, you use sentence 1.
If you have known only one guy in your life, you use sentence 2.
If you have known more than one guy in your life, but you are talking only about one specific guy, whom you have already mentioned in the conversation, you use sentence 2.
If you're mentioning the guy for the first time, out of nowhere, you use sentence 1.

.
It is not 'case production'-- it is the production of test cases. Get back to me if you do not understand after further research.

I like #1.

Hi, Jamie and Mister Micawber

I'm glad you answered my questions that minutely, thank you very much!

I think I got the idea of that first sentence. Just to make sure that I did, can I rehash it this way?:
where pair programming and test case production before coding are 2 examples
=
where both: programming and test case production before programming are 2 examples
(I just substituted pair for both and coding for programming)
