Hi Tom
The naturalness of your various examples would be dependent on the broader context to a very great degree. Generally speaking 3,4 and 5 would probably only be used in a formal context, and 4 in particular runs a huge risk of sounding very stilted. . _________________ "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." ~ Abraham Lincoln |

Dear Amy
The whole context is just one simple question:
| Quote: |
| 1- Who is at the door? |
Would you say that all of the following sentences in response to this simple question would be natural and OK?
| Quote: |
1- It's me. 2- It's I. 3- It's her. 4- It's she. 5- It's they. 6- It's them. 7- It's he. 8- It's him. |
Thanks
Tom |
