Hi, everyone.
In a text about marketing I met the usage of the word 'output' which seems completely strange to me.

This group of people can be convinced to purchase a selected product by three outputs which they receive from the product :
Significant – these are the physical aspects of the product and the package
Symbolic - the ideas or images attached by an advertisement
Social - the ideas or images attached to the product mostly by references from other people
Market success will only be achieved through a good advertising message that convinces both target groups.

The only thing I can think of is that outputs here mean something like benefits or advantages.

An output is like an outcome as opposite to an input. In the case of the example, the outputs are:
Significant – these are the physical aspects of the product and the package
Symbolic - the ideas or images attached by an advertisement
Social - the ideas or images attached to the product mostly by references from other people
